Garden Construction & Vertical Green Wall – Kifisia

Given the spatial constraints, the design focused on creating a continuous lawn surface, visually extending the terrace and seating area. A curved planting bed was formed around the lawn, providing both a soft spatial boundary and visual screening from passers-by, as the residence is located at ground level.

Vertical Green Wall & Visual Depth

As there was no available planting area next to the swimming pool, a vertical green wall using the EcoSquare system was installed.

The wall was planted with approximately 1,000 plants, combining aromatic species and ornamental grasses, with the aim to:

• enhance the natural atmosphere around the pool
• add depth and visually enlarge the garden
• introduce substantial greenery without sacrificing usable space

This intervention significantly increases the perceived size and richness of the garden.

Irrigation & Fertigation

The entire garden, including the vertical green wall, is supported by a centralised fertigation system, featuring:

• a dosing pump by Tefen
• an automatic irrigation controller by Rain Bird, with remote management capability

This setup ensures precise water and nutrient delivery, optimizing plant health and overall system efficiency.

• the creation of spaciousness within limited outdoor areas
