Mini Garden Renovation – Attica

The existing layout included perimeter planting and a natural lawn, which had deteriorated and was no longer functional.

The aim of the intervention was to deliver an aesthetic and functional upgrade, transforming the space into a calm, well-structured garden suitable for small-scale outdoor living, with reduced maintenance requirements.

Spatial Layout

A plastic garden edging system was installed to define the planting beds, forming curved borders that clearly separate:

• the seating area
• from the surrounding planted zones

Within the seating area, synthetic turf was installed, providing durability, cleanliness and ease of use in a limited space.

Planting & Design Concept

The perimeter planting was enriched with a selection of Mediterranean and flowering plants, chosen to:

• ensure year-round flowering succession
• introduce seasonal colour variation
• enhance depth and visual interest within a compact garden

In addition, a water feature was incorporated, consisting of two stone spheres, accented with black pebbles, adding the sound of flowing water and reinforcing a sense of calm and relaxation.

Irrigation & Existing Infrastructure

The existing irrigation network was retained without controller upgrades.
All irrigation zones related to the former natural lawn were decommissioned, as lawn irrigation was no longer required.

Project Character

This project represents:

• a small-scale garden renovation
• an efficient redesign of a constrained outdoor space
• the transformation of a neglected garden into a refined and tranquil mini garden
