This project involves the construction of a private residential garden in Chalandri, with a total area of approximately 70 m², designed to combine functionality, privacy and a refined natural aesthetic, while maintaining low maintenance requirements.

On the right side of the entrance, a Lippia lawn was installed, selected for its durability and reduced maintenance needs. Perimeter Elaeagnus hedges were planted to provide natural screening from neighboring properties, while also introducing a subtle aromatic character to the garden.
Within the same area, a small Japanese garden was created, featuring Japanese maple trees and a water element with a cascading waterfall, incorporating water lilies and fish. The Japanese maples offer strong seasonal colour variation, with vibrant red tones during spring, adding visual interest throughout the year.
On the left side of the entrance, permeable surfaces were formed using plastic grid pavers filled with decorative gravel, creating a pathway leading to the swimming pool as well as a seating area. The spatial arrangement and planting design provide a partially concealed, sheltered seating space, ensuring privacy from the pool area without complete visual isolation.
Irrigation is supported by a simple battery-operated irrigation control system, while appropriate planting soils were used to ensure healthy plant establishment and long-term performance.
